Swan Lake: In the recent BBC4 fly-on-the-wall documentary about English National Ballet, Vadim Muntagirov comes across as a young dancer with little to say, while Daria Klimentova appears as the older, perhaps too wise ballerina talking herself into retirement. Yet on stage together in Derek Deane's proscenium arch version of Swan Lake they are transformed - he an eloquent Prince finding true love, and she in turns the innocent Swan Queen and her evil Black Swan doppelganger....
