(The Stage :: Reviews) - 1 year, 2 months agoVaudeville Theatre, London: Somehow Neil LaBute suggests depth in his plays without necessarily delivering. This is even more the case when, as here, the author is also the director. He can't play with the writer's subtext, trying to interpret the play in new and interesting ways. What you see is what you get. And while this world premiere of LaBute's examination of a sibling relationship is definitely dark, it certainly isn't deep.
