(The Stage :: Reviews) - 12 months agoGarrick, London: Next year is the centenary of the writing of George Bernard Shaw's most famous play, Pygmalion (though its London premiere was in fact delayed till 1914, with a German-language production preceding it the year before in Vienna). But the play still has striking resonances, not least the fact that it begins with the difficulties of securing a cab in the rain in Covent Garden - plus ca change.
