Hull Truck Theatre, Hull: With the sober colours of their post-war clothes, the cast of The Glee Club look like they belong in a sepia photograph. That sense of a snapshot of a past age runs throughout Hull Truck Theatre's new production. It is there in the dingy greens of the industrial set - a shed-like framework of girders - and the way the cast carry themselves under Tessa Walker's direction. While some of them might be prone to fits of explosive rage - not least the jilt...
