Lyric, Belfast: A geeky boy finds a picture book lying open on the floor. He studies it, then falls asleep. In his dreams, a group of smiling musicians appears and entices him into a mysterious, shadowy other world. Slowly, the lights go up on Niall Rea's amazing fantasy jungle set, strewn with the words of Rudyard Kipling's stories which, in Neil Duffield's adaptation, take on new life as both a moral tale and a thrilling adventure.
